This is the SecureNym.net Warrant Canary
Current U.S. laws and policies, especially those relating to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC/FISA), provide for secret warrants allowing searches and seizure of data and server records.
These warrants can impose criminal penalties for disclosure, thus preventing SecureNym from providing any warning of events that could materially affect the security of our users. Should such a warrant be served, we must comply with it's provisions, including any requiring that we not reveal the existence of a warrant.
A "warrant canary" in the form of a link on our main web page will display a dated, PGP signed, message with a statement that no warrants have been served or executed up to that date.
Should the Warrant Canary fail to be updated weekly, or should it disappear entirely, EXTREME CAUTION is advised.
